    Nansen and Lossan Pacific Surfliner have created a beautiful website that is well deserving of the Most Innovative Digital Solution. It's hard to meet different customer expectations in one site, by Lossan's site succeeds.

    Shoup Manufacturing and Diagram have created a site that solves for a tough problem in an elegant way. Both teams made a combined effort to truly understand their customer base and answer their challenges.

  • The People's Vote

    Dolby Labs and Valtech came through as the People's favourite this year! Valtech implemented complex developments that are entirely configurable by the editor, making sure Dolby's site delivers the wow factor on every page.

  • Best Buying Experience

    Netcel and English Heritage made excellent use of multiple technologies combined with genuine thoughtfulness about the customer journey for its 1.3 million members.

  • Most Innovative Digital Solution

    LNER and AmazeRealise effectively simplified the ticket booking tool. No details went unnoticed and the process of requesting refunds is as simple as ordering a tuna sandwich before the journey!

  • Best User Interface and Navigation

    The Mayor's Office for Policing and Crime and CDS set the standard for user experiences in the public sector. The site accommodates a vast range of requirements from police forces across the UK, while remaining inclusive and user-friendly for the public.

  • Best Lead Generation and Nurturing

    PA consulting and Netcel have successfully created a digital strategy that deepens engagement with their audience to create a perpetual process that generates repeat visitors, increases traffic to their website and aids with the conversion of quality, warm contacts.

  • The People's Vote

    Countrywide's submission for User Interface and Navigation made it through to win The People's vote!

  • Best buying experience

    Polarn O. Pyret optimized the buying experience by focusing on simplicity for their primary target group – parents with small children, who typically often lack both time and patience. Since most of them rarely have two hands free, the mobile site is designed for smooth one-hand navigation. Partner: Avensia.

  • Best user interface and navigation

    With easy navigation and a solid search solution, Electrolux’s site enables visitors to easily find what they are looking for. Content such as product guides and manuals are mixed with helpful reviews that are presented in a clear and stylish way. Partner: Bombayworks.

  • Most innovative digital solution

    Rapunzel of Sweden focuses on the customer experience, where content, product information and clear calls-to-action are the most important components supporting their omnichannel strategy. With a technically strong foundation built on Episerver’s cloud service and headless API, this solution has the highest quality of code, which will enable the company to meet the challenges of the future.     From the moment you land on Rädda Barnen’s (Save the Children’s) website, the user experience is friction free, with clear and informative calls-to-action throughout the site. Serving a vital purpose, this organization uses its website to make a difference every single day. Partner: Valtech.

  • Most helpful and engaging intranet

    SOS Alarm successfully launched a stable and appreciated intranet, which will be easy to develop further. Focusing on clearly organized content, this intranet makes it easy for users to find the right information at the right time. By using social elements that enable active dialogues between users, the intranet has rapidly increased engagement internally. Partner: Sublime.

  • People’s vote

    Ericsson’s site was voted the people’s favorite for best reflecting “a truly unique digital experience.” Partner: Comprend.

The categories

  • Best lead generation and nurturing

    This award is given to the website that most effectively generates leads and guides visitors through the customer journey with relevant content. Public content is mixed with gated content to provide useful information and collect contact details. Many B2B sites would fit into this category.

  • Most helpful and engaging intranet

    This award is given to the intranet that best supports employees or internal organizations in their work. The intranet should make it easy for users to find information and complete tasks on their mobile, tablet or laptop. Social elements are also important, such as comment capabilities, instant messaging, wikis and groups.

  • Most innovative digital solution

    This award is given to the most innovative digital solution that solves a challenge or meets a market demand in a new and exciting way. The solution sets a new standard for digital content, commerce or marketing. It improves customer or user experiences while supporting the overall strategies and goals of the organization.

  • Best buying experience

    This award is given to the digital commerce website that best combines an easy buying process with relevant and engaging content. This can include a quick checkout flow, smart search, social functions like ratings and reviews, personalized content, or chat options for fast service. Awarded to B2C or B2B websites.

  • Best user interface and navigation

    This award is given to the website that best helps visitors complete their tasks quickly and efficiently. The site should be easy to navigate and have strong search capabilities to help visitors find the information they need. A high level of customer service is important, such as chat or self-service features.

  • The People's vote

    Once we've shortlisted the nominations, you'll have the chance to cast your votes for the website that you believe encompasses all aspects of our nomination categories. This is the website that you think best reflects a "truly standout digital experience".

How does it work?

Both partners and customers can nominate a website that is based on Episerver's platform and has been launched within the last 18 months. As a partner, you need permissions from the end customer to participate in the competition. 

You can nominate your website by choosing a category and filling in the form on the category page. Try to describe your nomination as concisely as possible.
